Welcome to our trail system! This is private property, but any of our neighbors in the Sandy Chase neighborhood are welcome to use them. You are welcome to walk or bike on these trails from Dawn to Dusk.

Trail Use Terms & Liability Release
Notice to All Visitors: By entering and using the private trails located at 3797 Woodowl Drive, you (the "User") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not enter the property.
1. Assumption of Risk The User acknowledges that these trails are located on private, natural land. The terrain includes woods, proximity to a creek, and unpaved paths. Use of the trails involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
Tripping over roots, rocks, or uneven ground.
Slippery conditions near the creek or after rainfall.
Falling branches and contact with local wildlife or plants (e.g., poison ivy). The User voluntarily assumes all risks, known and unknown, associated with the use of these trails.
2. Release of Liability In accordance with NC General Statute § 38A-4, the Landowners provide access for recreational purposes without charge. By entering the property, the User agrees to release and hold harmless the Landowners from any and all claims for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death arising from the use of the trails, whether caused by the natural condition of the land or the Landowners' ordinary negligence.
3. Trail Rules & Dog Policy To keep these trails open for the neighborhood, all Users must:
Pick up after dogs: All pet waste must be bagged and removed from the property immediately.
Stay on marked paths: Do not wander into non-trail areas of the private yard.
Respect the environment: No littering, motorized vehicles, or removal of foliage.
Hours: Trails are open from Dawn to Dusk only.
4. Indemnification The User agrees to indemnify the Landowners against any loss or damage (including legal fees) caused by the User’s (or their pet’s) presence on the Property.
